La città (municipio-comune) e la parrocchia, nella diocesi di Abaetetuba (Parà) Brasile, sono dedicate a São Francesco Saverio da più di 200 anni. La città è stata creata dai padri Gesuiti che venivano dal porto di Belém. In occasione del IV Anniversario della canonizzazione del loro patrono (1622-2022), hanno eretto nella piazza della chiesa una statua di Francesco Saverio, inaugurata e benedetta durante la messa. The municipality and parish, in Abaetetuba Diocese (Parà, Brazil), have been dedicated to São Francesco Saverio for more than 200 years. The city was created by Jesuit Fathers coming from the harbour of Belém. On the occasion of the 4^th anniversary of the canonization of their patron saint (1622-2022), they have erected a statue of Francis Xavier in the church square, a statue which had been inaugurated and blessed during the Mass.
