“ …Viviamo in una provincia quasi senza sbocco, dove i nostri movimenti sono limitati e i nostri scambi ristretti, eppure ambita per la semplice ragione che il Cielo ci ha dato una terra dove scorre latte e miele. Sappiamo che i beni della terra sono a disposizione dell'uomo per la sua felicità e il suo sviluppo; tutti dobbiamo goderne con responsabilità, senza conflitti e senza la logica dello sterminio reciproco. Ed è qui che, ringraziando chi ci ha risparmiato gli scontri nelle grandi città, ribadiamo il nostro messaggio del 07.02.2025: “I nostri leader, che sono nostri fratelli africani, devono prendere decisioni utili per fermare la guerra invece di prolungare discussioni che lasciano il popolo ferito in agonia…”.

“…non è un segno di benedizione o di onore che i nostri figli, e persino quelli degli stranieri, vengano falciati sul nostro suolo, quando tutti noi abbiamo la vocazione di vivere come fratelli e sorelle sotto lo stato di diritto e non di forza. Coloro che si oppongono e ci dividono non sono nostri amici…”.

‘ ...we live in an almost landlocked province, where our movements are limited and our trade restricted, yet coveted for the simple reason that Heaven has given us a land where it flows with milk and honey. We know that the goods of the earth are available to men and women for their happiness and development; we must all enjoy them responsibly, without conflict and without the logic of mutual extermination. And it is here that, thanking those who spared us the clashes in the big cities, we reiterate our message of 07.02.2025: ‘Our leaders, who are our African brothers, take useful decisions to stop the war instead of prolonging discussions that leave the wounded people in agony...’.

‘...it is not a sign of blessing or honour for our children, and even those of foreigners, to be mowed down on our soil, when we all have a calling to live as brothers and sisters under the rule of law and not force. Those who oppose and divide us are not our friends...'.
