La parrocchia di San Francesco Saverio di Koptchou (Bafoussam) ha organizzato una messa in suffragio del P. Pierino Zoni, primo parroco di questa fondazione saveriana. L’iniziativa è stata presa dall’attuale parroco quando ha saputo della morte di P. Zoni. Alla Messa, celebrata la sera di lunedì scorso, hanno partecipato una ventina di preti, con una grande assistenza di fedeli venuti da varie parti della diocesi. Le varie testimonianze, date alla fine della Messa, hanno costituito un vero omaggio a P. Pierino e con lui ai saveriani, definiti come creatori di comunità cristiane.

The Parish of St. Francis Xavier of Koptchou (Bafoussam) organized a celebration of the Holy Mass remembering Fr. Pierino Zoni, the first Pastor of this Xaverian mission.  The initiative was taken by the current Pastor when he learned of the dealth of Fr. Zoni.  The Holy Mass, celebrated last Monday evening, was attended by twenty priests, with a numerous assistance of faithful from various parts of the Diocese.  The various testimonies, given at the end of the Mass, were a true tribute to Fr. Pierino Zoni and, with him, to the Xaverians, defined as creators of Christian communities.
