Il foglio di collegamento dei Saveriani in Cameroun-Ciad, L’Harmattan (n.92) del mese di giugno 2021, è dedicato alla sessione di formazione permanente dei confratelli della circoscrizione. Le 44 pagine di L’Harmattan (n.92) contengono gli interventi fatti dal nostro confratello p. Jesús Manuel Calero Perera sx, dottorando in islamologia, su due temi principali: La Da’wa, intesa come “appello”, “invito”. Si tratta di un termine utilizzato per esprimere la missione islamica. Il tema presenta la Da’wa nelle sue manifestazioni contemporanee. Il secondo tema trattato, invece, riflette sull’Islam e l’insegnamento della Chiesa Cattolica, dal Vaticano II ai nostri giorni. Le ultime tre pagine contengono due articoli di autori diversi su L’ Islam in Cameroun e L’Africa Occidentale di fronte alla minaccia jihadista.
The June 2021 issue of L'Harmattan(n.92), the newsletter of the Xaverians in Cameroon-Chad, is dedicated to the Ongoing Formation session of the confreres in the circumscription. The 44 pages of L’Harmattan (n.92) contain contributions by our brother Fr. Jesús Manuel Calero Perera s.x., PhD candidate in Islamology, on two main themes: The Da'wa, understood as "appeal", "invitation". It is a term used to express the Islamic mission. Fr. Jesús Manuel presents the Da'wa in its contemporary manifestations. The second theme, on the other hand, reflects on Islam and the teaching of the Catholic Church, from Vatican II to the present day. The last three pages contain two articles by different authors on Islam in Cameroun and West Africa vis-à-vis the jihadist threat.
