Leggendo su SxNews delle varie Assemblee delle nostre Circoscrizioni, viene una certa nostalgia. Da noi le due sponde degli Stretti, sebbene vicine, con molti (aereo)porti a disposizione, in questo momento sono in realtà lontanissime, quasi come le sponde dell’Oceano Pacifico.

Però questa difficoltà ci ha aperto altre strade: quasi ogni sera ci sentiamo, o anche ci vediamo, raccontandoci quanto facciamo, e soprattutto scherzando tra noi, in un clima di allegria e speranza. Tra le righe si riesce a parlare anche di bilanci, di progetti (pochi), della vita della Circoscrizione, sempre con la famosa spada di Damocle altissima sulle nostre teste.... Un’Assemblea diffusa, che celebriamo quasi ogni giorno e fa da stazione di rifornimento per i viaggi che, brevi o lunghi, facili o difficili, continuiamo a fare. (Fabrizio Tosolini sx)

When reading on SxNews about various Assemblies taking place in the Circumscriptions, one feels a pang of nostalgia. In our Circumscription, despite being so near and served by many airports and harbours, the two sides of the Strait are, at present, two very far away realities, as if they were the opposite shores of the Pacific Ocean.

Nevertheless, this difficulty has opened for us other paths: almost every evening we get in touch by phone, or are even able to see each other online, share what we are doing, and above all crack lots of jokes among ourselves, in a joyful and hopeful mood. In a roundabout way we also discuss about budgets, projects (few ones), the Circumscription’s life, always aware that the famous sword of Damocles is hanging over our heads… It is a diffused Assembly that we celebrate almost daily; it functions as a filling station for the short or long, easy, or difficult trips we continue making.
