Dal 12 al 16 aprile 2026, i confratelli saveriani della circoscrizione del Burundi hanno partecipato al loro ritiro annuale, tenutosi presso la comunità dei fratelli e delle sorelle del “Foyer de Charité de Ngozi”. È stato un momento di rinnovamento spirituale, guidato dal primo francescano burundese, P. Nicodème Kibuzehose, sul tema: “Fedeltà al nostro carisma saveriano nonostante le sfide attuali”.

Il 17 aprile, al termine dell’esercizio, i confratelli hanno tenuto la loro prima assemblea, durante la quale il Regionale ha presentato i documenti approvati del XVI Capitolo Regionale, nonché il piano triennale della nuova guida regionale (2026–2029). (Cassien Nshimirimana sx)

From April 12 to 16, 2026, the Xaverian confreres of the Burundian circumscription participated in their annual retreat, held at the community of the brothers and Sisters of the “Foyer de Charité de Ngozi.” It was a moment of spiritual renewal, guided by the first Burundian Franciscan, Fr. Nicodème Kibuzehose, under the theme: “Fidelity to our Xaverian charism despite current challenges”.

On April 17, at the end of the retreat, the confreres held their first assembly, during which the Regional presented the approved documents of the XVI Regional Chapter, as well as the triennial plan of the new regional leadership (2026–2029). (Cassien Nshimirimana sx)
