Il 30 settembre 2019, sono stati ricevuti in udienza dal Papa Francesco i componenti delle 8 Direzioni Generali degli Istituti missionari di fondazione italiana, più alcuni stretti collaboratori. A nome di tutti, ha rivolto il saluto al Santo Padre la Superiora Generale delle “Missionarie dell’Immacolata”(PIME). Il Papa ha risposto con brevi ma intense parole, esprimendo riconoscenza ai nostri Fondatori per il coraggio avuto nel dare inizio ai nostri Istituti in tempi travagliati e ricordando che “al missionario serve la gioia del Vangelo”.

On 30 September 2019, Pope Francis met the members of the General Directions of the eight missionary institutes of Italian foundation along with some of their strict collaborators. The General Superior of the Missionary Sisters of the Immaculate (PIME) greeted the pontiff on behalf of all the missionaries. The Holy Father reciprocated with short but intense words expressing His gratitude to all the Founders for the courage they had in starting, despite great odds, their respective missionary family. He particularly reminded the need for every missionary to be joyful with the joy of the Gospel.
