Giovedì 9 giugno 2022, è stato fatto il passaggio delle consegne tra la comunità saveriana di Gounou-Gaya e le autorità diocesane, rappresentate dal Vicario Generale, Mgr Jean-Paul Faïdjoua, accompagnato dall'abbé Gaspard Djounounbi. Tutti membri della comunità saveriana di Gounou-Gaya erano presenti.

Dopo 40 anni di presenza e di annuncio del Vangelo nella zona di Gounou-Gaya, i Saveriani lasciano l'incarico pastorale delle due missioni di Gounou-Gaya e Domo al clero diocesano.

Le autorità diocesane hanno ringraziato i Saveriani per il lungo ed impegnativo lavoro missionario svolto in 40 anni di attiva presenza. (Sergio Galimberti sx)

On June 9^th, 2022, a handover ceremony from the Xaverian community of Gounou-Gaya to the diocesan authorities represented by the Vicar General Msgr. Jean-Paul Faïdjoua, who was accompanied by Fr. Gaspard Djounounbi, took place. All members of the Xaverian community of Gounou-Gaya were in attendance.

After 40 years of presence and Gospel proclamation in the Gounou-Gaya District, the Xaverians transferred the pastoral care of the two missions of Gounou-Gaya and Domo to the diocesan clergy.

The diocesan authorities thanked the Xaverians for the long and hard missionary work carried out over 40 years of active presence. (Sergio Galimberti s.x.)
