Dal 9 al 13 gennaio 2023, i Saveriani della Circoscrizione dell’Indonesia si sono riuniti presso la Wisma Samadi (Jakarta)per l’Assemblea (biennale), che ha avuto come tema: “Amare la nostra vocazione missionaria attraverso la conversione pastorale missionaria” (Mencintai Panggilan Xaverian Kita, melalui Pertobatan Pastoral Misioner). 

Il documento di riferimento su cui si è lavorato prima e durante l’assemblea è stato: La conversione pastorale della comunità parrocchiale (Pertobatan Pastoral Komunitas Paroki) pubblicato a Roma nel 2020 dalla Congregazione per il clero. 

Dopo alcuni preliminari, e la messa di apertura presieduta dal superiore regionale, p. Antonius Suhud Budi Pranoto, l’assemblea è stata accompagnata dal vescovo di Padang e nostro confratello + Vitus Rubiantus Solichin, il quale nella mattinata di martedì 10, ha guidato il ritiro spirituale sul tema proposto dall’assemblea. 

Nel pomeriggio c’è stato l’intervento del consigliere generale, p. Eugenio Pulcini, centrato soprattutto sullo spirito che deve guidarci nel cammino di preparazione verso il XVIII CG. 

La mattinata di mercoledì 11 gennaio è stata dedicata alle varie presentazioni fatte da esperti indonesiani: 1) sul Documento “La conversione pastorale della comunità parrocchiale”; 2) la contestualizzazione del citato Documento nella realtà indonesiana, sottolineando l’importanza di condividere e far fruttificare il carisma saveriano nelle attività pastorali che si svolgono per favorire una chiesa missionaria per parrocchie sempre più missionarie. 

Mercoledì pomeriggio e giovedì mattina, invece, ogni comunità (formazione, pastorale e accoglienza) ha presentato la propria relazione, rispondendo ad alcune domande, precedentemente inviate, formulate sul tema del XVIII CG (Amare la nostra vocazione saveriana) e del documento indicato. 

Giovedì pomeriggio, c’è stata la presentazione del Laicato Saveriano in Indonesia (Paguyuban Awam Xaverian - PAX) da parte del coordinatore signor Albertus Binardi Bachtiar.

Venerdì mattina, con la celebrazione eucaristica, presieduta dal Vice regionale e Maestro dei novizi p. Yakobus Sriyatmoko si sono conclusi i lavori dell’assemblea, in uno spirito di ringraziamento, gioia e rinnovato impegno. (I confratelli dell’Indonesia)  

From January 9^th to 13^th, 2023, the Xaverian of the Indonesian Circumscription gathered at Wisma Samadi (Jakarta) for their Assembly (biennial), whose theme was: Loving Our Missionary Vocation through Conversion to Missionary Pastoral Ministry (Mencintai Panggilan Xaverian Kita, melalui Pertobatan Pastoral Misioner).

The working document in preparation for and during the assembly was: The Pastoral Conversion of the Parish Community published in Rome in 2020 by the Dicastery for the Clergy.

After some preliminaries and an opening Mass presided over by the Regional Superior, Fr. Antonius Suhud Budi Pranoto, the assembly was accompanied by the bishop of Padang, our confrere + Vitus Rubiantus Solichin; in the morning of Tuesday, January 10^th, he led the spiritual retreat on the theme proposed by the assembly. In the afternoon, there was a contribution by General Councillor Fr. Eugenio Pulcini; it centred around the spirit that should inform our journey of preparation for the XVIII General Chapter. 

Wednesday morning, January 11^th, was dedicated to several presentations delivered by Indonesian experts: 1) about the Document The Pastoral Conversion of the Parish Community; 2) about the contextualisation of said Document in the Indonesian reality, by underlying the importance of sharing and bringing the Xaverian charism to bear upon the pastoral activities that are carried out, so as to favour a missionary church and more missionary parishes.

Instead, on Wednesday afternoon and Thursday morning, each community gave its own report and answered questions that had been sent beforehand, questions about the theme of the XVIII GCh (Loving our Xaverian Vocation) and the document mentioned above.

In the afternoon of Thursday, there was a presentation of the Xaverian Laity (Paguyuban Awam Xaverian - PAX) in Indonesia by its coordinator, Mr Albertus Binardi Bachtiar. 

On Friday morning, the assembly’s work concluded with a Eucharistic celebration presided over by the Vice Regional and Master of Novices, Fr. Yakobus Sriyatmoko, in a spirit of thanksgiving, joy and renewed commitment. (The confreres of Indonesia)
