CAPPELLA DI SAN FRANCESCO DI ASSISI: COMUNITÀ AFFIDATA AI MISSIONARI SAVERIANI
In occasione della celebrazione della festa della SS. Trinità, Mons. Emilio Rocha Grande OFM, arcivescovo di Tangeri, ha visitato la piccola comunità cristiana di M’diq (18 persone circa), affidata alla cura dei Missionari Saveriani.
Ogni domenica, infatti, una ventina di persone circa si ritrova nella cappella di San Francesco d’Assisi per l’ascolto della Parola, per la frazione del Pane, seguito da momenti di fraternità. Mangiamo insieme e condividiamo i differenti cammini di comunione.
Mons. Emilio Rocha Grande ofm ha voluto visitarci per essere con noi. Era il desiderio di ciascuno dei membri di questa comunità cristiana averlo in mezzo a noi per conoscerlo e ascoltare la sua parola: “…siamo una piccola comunità credente, costituita da diverse nazionalità e lingue. Una comunità credente che cerca il Signore Gesù e lo testimonia presente nella comunione; testimoni vivi di comunione secondo il cuore di Dio…”

ST FRANCIS OF ASSISI CHAPEL: A COMMUNITY ENTRUSTED TO THE XAVERIAN MISSIONARIES
On the feast of the Most Holy Trinity, Msgr. Emilio Rocha Grande o.f.m., archbishop of Tangier, paid visit to the small Christian community of M’diq (about 18 people), which has been entrusted to the care of the Xaverian Missionaries.
Every Sunday, around 20 people meet in the chapel of St Francis of Assisi to listen to the Word and share the Bread, and then spend a moment of fraternity. We eat together and share our different journeys of communion.
Msgr. Emilio Rocha Grande o.f.m. visited us because he wanted to be among us. It was the desire of each member of this Christian community to have him among us and get to know him and listen to his word: “… we are a small community of believers, made up of different nationalities and languages. A community of believers that search for the Lord Jesus and witness His presence through communion; living witnesses of communion according to the heart of God…”
