Domenica 26 settembre, abbiamo celebrato il 50° anniversario di sacerdozio missionario dei pp. José Rosti sx e Humberto Mauro Marsich sx. Due fratelli saveriani pieni di qualità, consacrati all'annuncio del Vangelo. I due hanno dedicato gran parte della loro vita sacerdotale missionaria in varie comunità della regione del Messico: P. José Rosti sx dedicato alle opere di carità e di misericordia per 49 anni e P. Humberto Marsich più concentrato sulle tematiche artistiche e musicali e sull'Insegnamento presso il Collegio Centro Unión e in vari seminari di formazione teologica per 46 anni. Due saveriani profondamente appassionati della loro vocazione sacerdotale missionaria saveriana.

Dovuto alla situazione della pandemia, la festa è stata molto semplice. Nella comunità saveriana di San Juan del Río, Qro. (Messico), P. Humberto ha presieduto la celebrazione con la partecipazione di alcuni fratelli saveriani e la presenza di alcuni amici e benefattori con i quali ha condiviso la sua vita missionaria. Nella semplicità dell'incontro, della liturgia eucaristica e della convivenza, abbiamo ringraziato Dio, la famiglia di ciascuno dei nostri due fratelli per la loro testimonianza missionaria anche nella vecchiaia e nella fragilità: “Il Signore non potrebbe essere più buono con NOI”. La celebrazione di p. José Rosti sx è stata rinviata a data da destinarsi. (Juan Olvera Servín sx)

On September 26^th, 2021, we celebrated the 50^th Anniversary of priesthood of Fr. José Rosti s.x. and Fr. Mauro Marsich s.x.. They are two of our brothers, very rich in their many talents and totally consecrated to the proclamation of the Gospel. The two have dedicated large part of their priestly missionary life in various communities of the Xaverian Mexican Region: Fr. José Rosti s.x. gave 49 years of his life to works of charity, formation and mission, while Fr. Humberto Marsich s.x. for 46 years focused more on artistic and musical themes, teaching at the Centro Unión College, and offering various courses and seminars of theological formation. They are two Xaverian confreres deeply passionate about their missionary priestly vocation.  

Due to the pandemic situation, the party was very simple. In the Xaverian Community of San Juan del Río, Qro. (Mexico), Fr. Humberto presided the celebration of the Eucharist. Many Xaverians, friends and benefactors with whom he has shared his life were present at the Mass. In our simple encounter during the Eucharistic Liturgy and the time spent together, we thanked God and the families of the two confreres. We thanked them  for their missionary witness and ministry, even in their older age and fragility. We remembered gratefully the phrase of our Founder: “The Lord could not be more benevolent to us!” The celebration for Fr. José Rosti s.x. has been postponed to a date to be later determined.  (Fr.
