Il 5 novembre 2021, Festa del Fondatore, la comunità della Casa Madre, le Missionarie di Maria-Saveriane e i Laici Saveriani, si sono ritrovati per un tempo di riflessione guidata dal nostro confratello p. Giancarlo Lazzarini sx. Per l’incontro erano presenti anche alcuni confratelli del 4° piano.

P. Giancarlo ha sottolineato il principio secondo cui nessuno nasce già santo e fondatore. Conforti ha accettato con tutto se stesso di percorrere un cammino per “diventare” tale. Ha vissuto nella propria persona quello che ha ardentemente voluto fondare. Quello che Guido Maria Conforti ha chiesto al Signore è ciò che lui stesso ha desiderato vivere intensamente nella sua umanità, in modo particolare la passione per la missione, per l’annuncio del Vangelo a tutti i popoli, compiendo il primo passo in Cina.

On November 5^th 2021, Founder’s Day, the community of the Mother House, the Xaverian Sisters-Missionaries of Mary and the Xaverian Laity gathered for a time of reflection under led by of our confrere Fr. Giancarlo Lazzarini s.x. Some confreres of the Fourth Floor were also in attendance. Fr. Giancarlo underscored the principle whereby nobody was born a saint and founder. Conforti accepted, with his whole being, to walk a path towards “becoming” saint and founder; that is, he experienced in person what he had ardently wished to found. What Guido Maria Conforti asked the Lord is exactly what he himself wished to live intensely in his own person: a special passion for the mission, that is, a passion for the proclamation of the Gospel to all peoples, by taking the first step in China.
