Martedì 23 aprile 2024 si è aperto ufficialmente il XVIII Capitolo Regionale dell’Indonesia. A questo capitolo partecipano p. Fernando García Rodríguez, p. Sudarmanto e p. Felipe de Jesús López Orozco della Direzione Generale, insieme a 18 confratelli provenienti dai due distretti elettorali: Giava e Sumatra.  Il tema del Capitolo è "Eucaristia e missione".  Dopo l'apertura ufficiale da parte del Padre Generale, il Capitolo è proseguito con un breve ritiro guidato da p. Sudarmanto. In generale, il programma giornaliero del Capitolo inizia con la celebrazione dell'Eucaristia e le preghiere quotidiane. Segue la discussione sui temi centrali del Capitolo alla luce del XVIII Capitolo generale. Al terzo giorno del Capitolo, la riflessione e la discussione sui temi sono ancora in corso, nello spirito della famiglia Saveriana. (Johanes Leonardus Suharno sx)

On Tuesday, April 23, 2024, the XVIII Indonesian Regional Chapter was officially opened.  This Chapter is attended by Fr. Fernando García Rodríguez, Fr. Sudarmanto and Fr. Felipe de Jesús López Orozco, from the General Direction, and 18 confreres from two electoral districts: Java and Sumatra.  The Chapter's theme is "Eucharist and Mission".  After the official opening by Father General, the Chapter continued with a short recollection guided by Fr. Sudarmanto.  In general, the Chapter's daily schedule begins with the Eucharist celebration and daily prayers, followed by a discussion of the chapter's central themes in the light of the XVIII General Chapter.  Entering the third day of the chapter, reflection and discussion on the topics are still going on in the spirit of the Xaverian family.
