Il Prefetto del Dicastero delle Cause dei Santi, Mons. Marcello Semeraro, ha pubblicato, il giorno 11 gennaio 2023, il decreto di validità giuridica dell’Inchiesta diocesana sul martirio dei Servi di Dio Michel Kayoya e 43 compagni. Con questo importante documento, si conclude la fase diocesana (che si è svolta a Bururi-Burundi dal 2019 al 2022) e si entra nella fase romana della causa dei presunti martiri, di cui fanno parte anche i confratelli Aldo Marchiol e Ottorino Maule e la laica Catina Gubert. On January 11^th, 2023, the Prefect of the Congregation for the Causes of Saints, Msgr. Marcello Semeraro, published the decree of juridical validity of the diocesan Inquiry on the martyrdom of the Servants of God Michel Kayoya and his 43 companions. The publication of this important document marks the end of the diocesan phase of the cause (which took place in Bururi, Burundi, from 2019 to 2022) and begins the Roman phase of the cause of the alleged martyrs; this group of martyrs includes also our confreres Aldo Marchiol and Ottorino Maule, and the lay woman Catina Gubert.
