Il 5 novembre tutti i confratelli Saveriani che lavoriamo in Mozambico ci siamo ritrovati per celebrare la festa del fondatore e padre, Guido Maria Conforti. Nella celebrazione eucaristica, abbiamo ringraziato il Signore per il dono della vita di San Guido Maria Conforti, per il dono della fraternità e per le meraviglie di Dio nella vita di ogni confratello. Abbiamo pregato insieme affinché il Signore continui a donare ad ogni Saveriano la forza e la fiducia di vivere come fratello tra fratelli. A questa liturgia hanno preso parte il gruppo GAMIX (Gruppo Amici dei Missionari Saveriani) e il popolo di Dio della parrocchia di Santa Ana di Dondo dove siamo convenuti. In questa stessa celebrazione, abbiamo ringraziato Dio Padre per il dono della vita del nostro confratello p. Enrique Álvarez Casillas, il quale, dopo 11 anni di servizio missionario tra il popolo mozambicano, torna in Messico. Grazie mille p. KIKE per la tua disponibilità. Dio ti benedica e ti protegga sempre.

Nella preghiera del vespro dello stesso giorno, il nostro confratello p. Sébastien Cikuru Cirimwami ha rinnovato i voti religiosi.

Da lunedì 07 a martedì 08 novembre 2022, ci siamo dedicati a continuare i lavori dell'Assemblea della Delegazione di fine anno. Sono stati giorni di condivisione e valutazione del nostro impegno missionario. In questi incontri abbiamo affrontato anche il tema della preparazione al XVIII CG, all’elezione del delegato del prossimo capitolo generale e alla raccolta del lavoro preparatorio a livello di delegazione. “Il Signore non poteva essere più buono con noi” (LT, 1.) On November 5^th, we Xaverians working in Mozambique gathered all together to celebrate the feast of our founder and father, Guido Maria Conforti. During the Eucharistic celebration, we thanked the Lord for the gift of Guido Maria Conforti’s life, for the gift of fraternity and the wonders God wrought in the life of each confrere. We prayed together the Lord to continue giving each Xaverian the strength and confidence to live as brother among brothers. GAMIX (group of friends of the Xaverian missionaries) and the people of God belonging to Santa Ana Parish in Dondo, where we convened, partook in the liturgy. In this same celebration, we thanked God the Father for the gift of our confrere Fr. Enrique Álvarez Casillas’ life; after 11 years spent at the service of mission among the Mozambican people, he is about to return to Mexico. Thank you so very much, Fr. Kike, for your availability. May God bless you and protect you always.

On the same day, during the prayer at vesper, our confrere Fr. Sébastien Cikuru Cirimwami renewed his religious vows.

From Monday to Tuesday (November 7^th and 8^th, 2022), we continued the work of the end-of-the-year Delegation Assembly. These were days of common sharing and evaluation of our missionary commitment. In the same meetings, we also dealt with the theme of the XVIII General Chapter, the election of our delegate to the General Chapter and put together our delegation’s work of preparation. “The Lord could not have been more benevolent towards us!” (LT 1).
