“Il Signore non poteva essere più buono con noi” è una pubblicazione che raccoglie i ritiri mensili, tenuti da Elena Conforto mmx durante l’anno pastorale 2020-21 a Parma, alle sorelle della comunità di Casa Madre e della Direzione generale a partire dalla Lettera Testamento di S. Guido M. Conforti, fondatore della Congregazione dei Missionari Saveriani.
Il primo incontro è stato animato da p. Filippo Rondi sx, che ha fatto un’introduzione generale sui temi contenuti nel testo. Nei ritiri successivi Elena li ha ripresi e sviluppati, soffermandosi su ciascun numero della Lettera, secondo una prospettiva biblica e attingendo alla ricchezza di scritti di vari missionari saveriani. La riflessione si è arricchita soprattutto con il pensiero di p. Giacomo Spagnolo e Madre Celestina Bottego.
Non si può leggere, meditare e pregare la Lettera Testamento individualmente. Nell’avvicinarla si sente la necessità di farlo insieme, con l’aiuto della comunità e soprattutto di coloro che più si sono accostati al cuore del padre Fondatore. È una rilettura che tiene conto di una visione più ampia che ci porta verso la Famiglia Carismatica Saveriana, della quale il Conforti ne è il capostipite.
THE TESTAMENT LETTER AND THE XAVERIAN MISSIONARY SISTERS OF MARY
The Lord could not have been more benevolent towards us!is a publication which collects the monthly retreats on the Testament Letter of St. Guido M. Conforti. They were given by Elena Conforto mmx, during the pastoral year 2020-21 in Parma, to the Xaverian sisters of the community of the Mother House and the General Direction.
The first recollection was guided by Fr. Filippo Rondi sx, who gave a general introduction on the topics contained in the Testament Letter. The other spiritual retreats were led by Elena Conforto who dwelt on each issue of the Letter, according to some biblical perspectives and from the wealth of writings of various Xaverian Missionaries. The whole material has been enriched above all by the reflection and writings of both Fr. Giacomo Spagnolo sx and Celestina Bottego.
One cannot read, meditate, and pray the Testament Letter individually. In approaching it, one feels the need to do it together, with the help of the community and above all of those who have come closest to the heart of the Father Founder. This enables us to achieve a broader vision that leads us to the Xaverian Charismatic Family, of which Conforti was the beginning and the inspiration.
