Sabato 21 gennaio scorso, a Torviscosa-Udine, nella modesta chiesetta del paese, abbiamo ricordato p. Tonino Caissutti sx, nel suo 25mo di morte con l’Eucaristia concelebrata e presieduta da Don Giovanni Rivetti, suo compaesano, che ha ricordato, con grande gioia e nostalgia, i viaggi di quando accompagnava p. Tonino nell’Animazione Missionaria nelle scuole, passando anche per le nostre Case Saveriane dell’Italia, mostrando foto e filmine della popolazione e del lavoro missionario nelle Mentawai – Indonesia. Una esperienza che Don Giovanni porta tuttora con intima contentezza nel suo cuore e di cui desiderava, in questa celebrazione eucaristica, far vivamente parte alle numerose persone presenti, fra le quali i tre nipoti, Stefano, Antonella e Michela di p. On Saturday, January 21^st, in the simple little church of Torviscosa village (Udine, Italy), we remembered Fr. Tonino Caissutti s.x. with a Mass on the 25^th anniversary of his death. The Eucharistic concelebration was presided over by his fellow villager Fr. Giovanni Rivetti, who recalled with great joy and nostalgia the trips in which he used to accompany Fr. Tonino in his work of promotion of missionary spirit in schools; he would pass also through our Xaverian Houses in Italy to show photos and short films of the people and missionary work in the Mentawai Islands (Indonesia). Fr. Giovanni still cherishes that experience with much joy and, in this Eucharistic celebration, he wished to share it with the many people present, among whom were three of Fr. Tonino’s nephews and nieces: Stefano, Antonella and Michela. (Lorenzo Mattiussi s.x.)
