Ecco i materiali che questa settimana accompagnano il cammino di preparazione al XVIII CG.  

• È stata pubblicata in sei lingue, la Scheda Tematica n.5 dal titolo: Dove siamo. Economia, strutture, governo. L’obiettivo di questa scheda è riflettere sulle nostre risorse e possibilità, sulla sinodalità e sulle strutture, soprattutto quando sono onerose, in vista della missione più che per l’autopreservazione (cf. EG 27). Metodologicamente segue il cammino delle schede precedenti. Le risposte/condivisioni sono da inviare – non oltre il 15 febbraio – al Comitato Preparatorio. • Othoniel Nininahazwe, giovane confratello burundese attualmente membro della teologia internazionale di Manila, scrive a ‘Caro capitolo…’, sul tema Tornare al punto di partenza. Siamo sulla strada giusta o siamo fuori strada? Leggi qui. 
• Nella sezione In primo Piano, offriamo un interessante sintesi dei lavori della Settimana culturale della regione saveriana d’Italia, dal titolo: “La trasformazione della missione. Di fronte all’altro”.  Leggi qui.
• In “Amare la nostra vocazione saveriana”, questa settimana pubblichiamo la testimonianza del confratello p. Luigi Paggi: Tentativi di evangelizzazione in Bangladesh. Leggiamo nella presentazione di p. Sergio Targa: «Uno degli ideatori delle vie nuove, p. Here are the materials that this week will accompany our preparation process for the XVIII GC.

• Thematic Sheet No. 5 entitled: Where we are. Economy, structures, governance has been published in six languages. The objective of this issue is to reflect on our resources and possibilities, on synodality and structures, especially when they are onerous, in view of the mission more than for self-preservation (cf. EG 27). Methodologically, it follows the path of the previous issues. Replies and sharings are to be sent - no later than 15 February - to the Preparatory Committee. • In the Featured section, we offer an interesting summary of the work of the Cultural Week of the Xaverian region of Italy, entitled: “La trasformazione della missione. Di fronte all’altro”.  Read here.
• In "Loving our Xaverian vocation", this week we publish the testimony of our confrere Fr. Luigi Paggi: Attempts at evangelisation in Bangladesh. We read in the presentation by Fr Sergio Targa,sx: «One of the creators of the vie nuove, Fr. Luigi Paggi, sx can rightly be considered one of the great Xaverian missionaries who reshaped the mission in Bangladesh as it was being rethought after the Vatican Council». Read more.
