Chudy, dopo aver conseguito il Dottorato presso la Hartford International University for Religion and Peace con una tesi sul Postsecular Catholicism (che si può scaricare qui), è impegnato in questo settore da tanti anni. «Gli Stati Uniti hanno il privilegio di essere la patria di molte tradizioni religiose, così come di percorsi spirituali intrapresi da coloro che lasciano le istituzioni religiose o sono in qualche modo non religiosi (spirituali ma non religiosi)». Il prossimo è programmato per martedì 30 maggio, alle ore 15.00 di Manila (PH), (ore 09:00 di Roma) – Amare la nostra vocazione saveriana in Asia. Sarà introdotto da P. Patrick Santiañez, sx. Nei due precedenti incontri (Africa e America), la partecipazione dei saveriani dai vari continenti, è stata numerosa e vivace.
Il Comitato Preparatorio sta terminando il suo servizio di animazione per la preparazione al XVIII CG. Si incontrerà (online) mercoledì 7 giugno mercoledì, per definire gli ultimi dettagli sulla sintesi dei contributi alle schede tematiche.

In the section Loving our Xaverian vocation, we offer the interesting sharing of Fr. Carl Chudy,sx on the topic: Xaverian Interreligious Dialogue in the United States. In preparation for the XVIII GC. Fr. Chudy, after earning his doctorate at the Hartford International University for Religion and Peace with a thesis on Post-secular Catholicism (which can be downloaded here), has been engaged in this sector for many years. "The United States is privileged to be home to many religious traditions, as well as spiritual paths taken by those who leave religious institutions or are non-religious in any way (spiritual but not religious)." The online meetings by continent continue, on the theme of the General Chapter. The next one is scheduled for Tuesday 30 May, at 3.00 pm in Manila (PH), (9.00 am in Rome) – Loving our Xaverian vocation in Asia. It will be introduced by Fr. Patrick Santiañez, sx. In the two previous meetings (Africa and America), the participation of Xaverians from various continents was numerous and lively.
The Preparatory Committee is finishing its animation service for the preparation of the 18th General Chapter. It will meet (online) on Wednesday 7 June, to work out the final details on the summary of the contributions to the thematic sheets.
