Sabato, 3 dicembre 2022, le nostre due comunità di Roma e le sorelle saveriane hanno celebrato gioiosamente la festa di San Francesco Saverio. Sono state invitate anche comunità religiose nostre vicine, sacerdoti, amici e benefattori. Tra i partecipanti c’era p. Indunil Janakaratne Kodithuwakku Kankanamalage, segretario del Dicasterium pro dialogo inter religiones dove lavora il nostro confratello p. Paulin Batairwa K.

Durante l’Eucaristia, p. Fabien Kalehezo T. ci ha ricordato che San Francesco Saverio ci è stato dato come santo patrono e modello perché da lui possiamo apprendere lo zelo e l’audacia per la missione ad gentes. La festa si è conclusa con un pranzo fraterno preparato dalle nostre cuoche con la collaborazione dei confratelli Gigi Pinna e Maurizio Zenere. (Louis Birabaluge sx)

On Saturday 3 December 2022, our two communities in Rome, and the Xaverian sisters joyfully celebrated the feast of St. Francis Xavier. Neighboring religious communities, priests, friends, and benefactors were also invited. Among the participants there was Fr Indunil Janakaratne Kodithuwakku Kankanamalage, Secretary of the Dicasterium pro dialogo inter religiones where our confrere Fr. Paulin Batairwa K. works.

In the Eucharist, Fabien Kalehezo T. reminded us that St. Francis Xavier is given to us as patron saint and model because from him we learn the zeal and an audacious spirit for the mission Ad Gentes. The feast was concluded with a fraternal meal prepared by our cook with the collaboration of our confreres Gigi Pinna and Maurizio Zenere. (Louis Birabaluge sx)
