Nella cappella della comunità abbiamo una croce che raffigura il Dio Padre che sostiene Gesù in croce. La croce poggia sul mondo e bagna con il suo sangue l’umanità intera. La croce fa paura. Essa fa gridare perché Cristo è lì inchiodato che ti guarda e sembra dirti “Vieni, portiamo insieme la croce”. Con Lui le nostre prove! Il Padre celeste ci sostiene e ci ripete - come lo ha fatto con il suo Figlio unigenito - : “Tu sei il mio prediletto”. La sofferenza viene trasformata in sorgente di vita. In our community chapel there is a cross with the image of God the Father that holds the crucified Jesus. The cross is planted on the world and the blood of the Crucified One bathes the entire humanity. The cross is scary. It makes one shout and ask “why is Christ nailed there? why is he looking at you and seems to say ‘Come, let us carry the cross together’?” Our tribulations are with Him! Our Heavenly Father supports us and keeps telling us – just as he did with his only begotten Son –: “You are my beloved.” Suffering is thus transformed in a source of life.
