In casa la compagnia è allegra, calorosa e fattiva, guidata dal p. Sergio Boscardin con piglio fiero e labbro sempre pronto al sorriso. La mensa è ricca e sopraffina, merito di fr. Gigi Pinna, cuoco d’eccezione. Il p. Giuseppe Dovigo, uomo paterno e sempre incoraggiante, è capace di vedere il bello ovunque ed è anche l’unica persona, per quel che ne so, capace di apprezzare l’odore di una ‘Camel Blue’ (sigaretta, ndr) accesa: un vero miracolo di accoglienza!

Acuto osservatore e saggio ascoltatore, il p. Gianni Brentegani si è fatto abile guida nelle passeggiate attraverso lo splendore del territorio.

“I’m staying on the second floor; when, early in the morning, I open the shutters, the rosy profile of the Brenta Dolomites appears majestic like the backdrop of a royal theatre that frames the lake below as if it were a mirror. In the house, the group is cheerful, sincere and active: Fr. Sergio Boscardin leads us, with his down-to-earth air, always ready to smile. The table is rich and refined, thanks to Br. Gigi Pinna, an exceptional cook. There is also Fr. Giuseppe Dovigo, a father figure that always encourages and manages to see beauty everywhere – as far as I know, he is also the only person who knows how to appreciate the smell of a lit Camel Blue (cigarette): he is a miracle of welcoming!

Then there is Fr. Gianni Brentegani, an observer and wise listener who has become a skilful guide when we trek in this magnificent territory.
