COSUMA AFRICA, giorno V
Nel quinto giorno della Cosuma-Africa, abbiamo cominciato la giornata con l’Eucaristia, celebrata nella nuova cappella dello studentato filosofico di Vamaro. Tutti i partecipanti alla Cosuma ci si sono recati, per visitare questa casa che accoglie e forma i futuri missionari.
Nella mattinata dello stesso giorno, è il tema della formazione di base e permanente che è stato dibattuto prima nei gruppi e poi in assemblea. Il numero crescente dei giovani che esprimono il desiderio di entrare nella nostra famiglia missionaria è accolto come un segno di vitalità del nostro carisma missionario in Africa. Spetta a noi di curare bene questo ambito.
Circa la formazione permanente, la Direzione Generale ci ha ricordato che secondo le indicazioni del ultimo Capitolo Generale , la FP è ritenuta come una de le sue priorità.
Il tema de laicato è stato oggetto per lo scambio nel pomeriggio. È una realtà che progressivamente sta prendendo forma in tutte le nostre circoscrizioni. Merita di essere sostenuta ed accompagnata. La giornata di domani porteremo avanti il tema dell’economia e della gestione dei beni materiali.
COSUMA AFRIQUE, jour V
Le 5ème jour de la Cosuma a débuté avec la messe célébrée dans la nouvelle chapelle du Philosophat SX de Vamaro. Tous les participants sont allés visiter cette maison qui a accueillie tant de nos confrères et où sont formés des futurs missionnaires Xavèriens.
Dans la matinée, c’est le thème de formation de base et permanente qui a été débattu d’abord en groupe et puis en assemblée. Le nombre croissant de jeunes qui manifestent le désir de rejoindre notre famille missionnaire est accueilli comme un signe de vitalité de notre charisme missionnaire en Afrique. Dès lors, il nous revient de soigner ce secteur. Quant à la formation permanente, la DG a rappelé que suivant les indications du dernier Chapitre Général, la Formation Permanente est retenue comme une de ses priorités.
Le thème du laïcat missionnaire Xavèriens a été l’objet de partage dans l’après midi. C’est une réalité qui prend progressivement forme dans toutes nos circonscriptions. La Cosuma-Afrique accueille avec joie cette expérience et s’engage à la soutenir et l’accompagner. La journée de demain se poursuivra sur le thème de l’économie et de la gestion de biens matériels.
COSUMA AFRICA , day V
The fifth day of the Cosuma-Africa started with the Eucharistic celebration in the new chapel building of the xaverian philosophy house of Vamaro. All the participants to the COSUMA visited that community that had welcomed a number of our confrere and where many young people are trained as future xaverian missionaries.
Then, the theme on “Basic and Ongoing formation was treated in the two groups, thereafter, in the Assembly. Considering the growing number of young people who are currently joining our religious family, the assembly welcomes them as a sign of vitality of our missionary charism in Africa. Therefore, the participants to the COSUMA considered the initial formation as a paramount duty. About the Ongoing formation, the secretary of the DG reminded the assembly the fact that to foster Ongoing formation is an orientation of the XVII GC. For this reason, the DG has taken it as one of its priorities; therefore it should be the same for all the circumscriptions.
In the afternoon, the topic on “the xaverian missionary laity” was discussed. We realized that the xaverian laity has become a reality which is progressively growing in all our African circumscriptions. The Cosuma-Africa welcomes that experience with joy and commits itself to accompany it. Tomorrow, the topic related to economy and the management of materials resources will be discussed.
