We speak and act from where we stand. We, who wish to be objective and impartial, ought to realize that we take sides from the day of our birth. Yet, when facing challenges and new directions streaming from diversity and arising from the world of the other, our role as disciples of Jesus remains only and always the same: a call to reconcile diversity in our hearts and foster reconciliation through our actions. We are guided and moved by the charism and spirituality of Saint Guido M. Conforti: by that “spirit of living faith which enables us to see, seek and love God in all”; by the “Caritas Christi urget nos – the love of Christ impels us” we strive to facilitate the creation of “one human family” reflecting the diversity and unity of all God’s people
