International anniversaries and days are celebrated annually and perform an important function, because they encourage us to remember particularly significant historical events and inform and raise awareness among citizens on crucial social (and not only) issues.

World days are fundamental events to raise awareness of the importance of issues such as health, the environment and human rights or religious topics and personalities. They take place on different dates throughout the year, each dedicated to a specific theme, and take place all over the world, in various contexts and with different formats.
