Announcing the Jubilee Year 2025 ("Pilgrims of Hope"), Pope Francis stated that HOPE is a torch: we must keep it alight by recovering the sense of universal brotherhood.

In this context we want to remember, rediscover some reflections – always current – ​​of our Founder, Saint Guido Maria Conforti.

The synthesis of his thoughts on hope is well expressed in the Notes of the Discourse to the Departing XIII° (Parma Cathedral, March 19, 1926), when he states:

«Jesus Christ has foretold it to us: I send you out like lambs among wolves (Luke 10, 3); ...they have persecuted me, they will persecute you too (John 15, 20); ...but do not be afraid, for I have overcome the world (John 16, 33). You too, apparently defeated, will be victorious in the end».
