SALUTO INTRODUTTIVO ALLA COSUMA 2015
Carissimi Confratelli,
benvenuti a questa Assemblea. Accogliendo voi accolgo anche tutti i confratelli delle vostre Circoscrizioni: in questo senso questa Conferenza diviene un grande e reale evento di Famiglia.
Abbiamo molto bisogno di questi momenti di Famiglia, prima di tutto perché la Missione affidataci non è individuale, ma appartiene alla Famiglia; in secondo luogo perché la Famiglia è il luogo migliore per imparare a mantenere vive le priorità e a riprendere nuova energia e vitalità.
Spero, quindi, che tutti voi stiate bene fisicamente e spiritualmente e lo spero anche per i confratelli. Alcuni sappiamo che sono ammalati, altri che soffrono spiritualmente, altri che sono in momenti critici. Noi siamo qui anche con loro, con l’unico scopo di trovare ancora la via migliore per sostenerci nelle nostre difficoltà e, ancor di più, per godere maggiormente della vocazione che il Signore ci ha donato.
Ci siamo preparati a questo Incontro riflettendo sulla Formazione Permanente: già questo argomento ci dice che questa Assemblea vuole essere un momento propositivo, dinamico, creativo per la nostra Famiglia. Ci formiamo continuamente per essere in orni momento missionari e saveriani entusiasti e competenti, coraggiosi e dinamici, consapevoli e costanti nel lavoro nella Vigna del Signore.
Abbiamo già un OdG degli argomenti e delle nostre giornate di lavoro: ci aiuterà ad usare al meglio il nostro tempo. Però, noi avremo la nostra vita missionaria e consacrata sempre sotto i nostri occhi, e questa detterà anche possibili cambiamenti al nostro previsto OdG. Non vogliamo sottrarci a nessuna delle urgenze che potrebbero emergere dai nostri dialoghi e incontri.
Facciamo tesoro di tutto, conosciamoci bene a vicenda, condividiamo le nostre gioie e preoccupazioni, facciamo conoscere specialmente le nostre gioie e soddisfazioni: per la nostra Famiglia questo Incontro divenga una nuova “ripartenza”.
Saranno con noi, durante l’Assemblea, anche la Direttrice Generale delle Sorelle Saveriane e il Vescovo di Parma. Passerà a salutarci anche il nuovo Vescovo s.x. p. Natale Paganelli. Probabilmente passeranno a salutarci anche altri confratelli: a tutti il più sincero benvenuto.
Un grazie sincero a p. Luigi Zucchinelli e ai confratelli della casa che ci accoglie: tutti noi conosciamo la qualità della loro ospitalità.
Sentiamo vicine anche le Suore Giuseppine di Zhen-Zhou, che ci accompagnano con la loro preghiera.
Buon lavoro a tutti, nella fiducia, nell’pertura di mente, nella disponibilità alla Volontà di Dio.

COSUMA 2015 - INTRODUCTORY GREETINGS
Dear Confreres,
welcome to this Assembly. As I welcome you, I also welcome all the Confreres of your Circumscriptions: in this sense, this Conference becomes a great and real Family event.
We have a great need for these Family moments, first of all because the Mission that has been entrusted to us is not an individual matter, but something that belongs to the Family; in the second place because the Family is the best place for learning to keep our priorities alive and renew our energy and vitality.
I hope, therefore, that you, and all the confreres, are enjoying good physical and spiritual health. We know that some are sick, some are suffering spiritually and others are going through critical experiences. We are here for them too, with the sole purpose of identifying once again the best way to support each other in our difficulties and, even more, to enjoy more and more the vocation that the Lord has given to us.
We prepared for this Meeting by reflecting on Ongoing Formation: this topic in itself tells us that our Assembly aims to be dynamic and creative and make proposals to our Family. We form ourselves constantly in order to be missionaries in every moment of our existence, and live as enthusiastic, competent, courageous, dynamic and well-aware Xaverians who work steadfastly in the Lord’s Vineyard.
We already have an Agenda of topics and work programs for our Meeting: this will help us to use our time in the best way. However, we will have our missionary and consecrated life always in mind and this may result in some changes to our established Agenda. We do not wish to ignore any urgent matters that may emerge from our dialogue and meetings.
Let us make good use of everything, get to know each other well, share our joys and concerns and, above all, let us share our joys and satisfactions: may this Meeting become a “new beginning” for our Family.
During the Assembly, we will have the Superior General of the Xaverian Sisters and the Bishop of Parma with us. We will also receive the visit of the Xaverian Bishop-elect, Fr. Natale Paganelli. Other confreres will probably come to visit us too: all of them are very welcome.
Our sincere thanks to Fr. Luigi Zucchinelli and the confreres of this house for their renowned and fraternal hospitality.
We also feel the solidarity of the Sisters of St. Joseph in Zhen-Zhou, who are accompanying us with their prayers.
May we all work well during this Meeting, in a spirit of trust and with an open mind, ready and willing to fulfill God’s Will.
May St. Guido M. Conforti accompany us and bless us.
