DIREZIONE GENERALE
Durante l’Eucaristia del 3 gennaio P. Generale ha ringraziato le Sorelle Saveriane per i molti anni di fraterno servizio alla Casa Generalizia (1970-2016). Con l’augurio, suggerito dalla Parola della Liturgia, di veder Dio, cercar Dio e amar Dio in tutto; sapientemente disponibili per il Regno.
Il giorno successivo, 4.1.2016, le Sorelle Saveriane hanno lasciato il servizio della Casa Generalizia.
CAMERUN-CIAD
Il 27 e 28 dicembre il Centre culturel et Musée di Yagoua, diretto dal P. Tonino Melis, ha organizzato un colloquio scientifico internazinoale con una quindicina di ricercatori delle università del Camerun e del Ciad che hanno presentato le loro ricerche sulla zona attraversata dal fiume Logone.
CONVEGNO SUI SOCIAL MEDIA
Riguardo al Convegno che si svolgerà a Tavernerio (Como – Italia) dal 17 al 30 gennaio, sul web DG, al sito Social Media, si trovano le ultime novità su partecipanti, agenda dei lavori e ‘scambi‘ finora pervenuti.
REPUBBLICA DEMOCRATICA DEL CONGO
Bukavu: alla Domus si svolge dal 6 al 17 gennaio l’Assemblea Precapitolare. L’Arcivescovo Mons. Francois Xavier Maroy, testimoniando la sua amicizia e apprezzamento, ha presieduto l’Eucaristia di apertura.
All’ordine del giorno: la finalità missionaria, la dimensione comunitaria, l’AMV e formazione, l’economia e alcune questioni giuridiche.

GENERAL DIRECTION
3 Jan: during the Eucharist, the Superior General thanked the Xaverian Sisters for their many years of fraternal service in the Generalate House (1970-2016). Inspired by the Word of the Liturgy, he encouraged them to continue seeking, seeing and loving God in all, in a spirit of wise availability for the Kingdom.
On the following day, 4 Jan 2106, the Sisters concluded their service in the Generalate House.
CAMEROON-CHAD
27-28 Dec: the Centre culturel et Musée di Yagoua, directed by Fr. Tonino Melis, organized an international scientific meeting with fifteen researchers from the universities of Cameroon and Chad, who presented their researches on the area that is crossed by the river Logone.
SOCIAL MEDIA CONFERENCE
The Conference will be held in Tavernerio (Como, Italy) in the period 17-30 Jan. The General Direction’s website contains the latest news regarding the participants, Agenda and the contributions that have been received so far.
DEMOCRATIC REPUBLIC OF CONGO
Bukavu Domus, 6-17 Jan: the Region is holding its pre-capitular assembly. In a sign of friendship and esteem, Archbishop Francois Xavier Maroy presided at the opening Eucharist.
On the Agenda: the missionary goal; the community dimension; Missionary-Vocation Animation; finances and some juridical matters.
