Il nostro confratello p. Antonio Trettel, missionario nella Repubblica Democratica del Congo, dopo aver letto il paginone del giornale MISSIONARI SAVERIANI di febbraio 2024 il cui titolo è “Testimoniare la Fede in Bangladesh”, dedicato appunto alla missione in Bangladesh, scrive a p. Sergio Targa sx, uno degli autori degli articoli che compongono la parte centrale di questa edizione: “Sergio carissimo, è un po’ che sto riflettendo con interesse sui tuoi interventisul Bangladesh nel paginone di Missionari Saveriani di febbraio 2024. Il fatto è che quanto dici lo trovo (è strano?) ugualmente verissimo, a mio giudizio, anche per le ‘nostre’ missioni qui in Congo (e non solo)!”
La lettera aperta di p. Antonio porta il seguente titolo: “Perché dal Primo Annuncio spesso entusiasta e generoso dei missionari... non sempre nascono delle Chiese locali vivacemente ‘missionarie’ ?”
A MISSIONARY READS THE MONTHLY "MISSIONARI SAVERIANI"
Our confrere Fr. Antonio Trettel (missionary in the Democratic Republic of Congo), after reading the February 2024 central page of the MISSIONARI SAVERIANI, whose title is "Witnessing the Faith in Bangladesh," dedicated precisely to the mission in Bangladesh, writes to Fr. Sergio Targa s.x., one of the authors of the articles that make up the central page. Fr. Antonio writes: "Dearest Sergio, I have been reflecting with interest for a while on your article on Bangladesh on the February 2024 page of Missionari Saveriani. The fact is that what you say I find (is it strange?) equally true, in my opinion, for 'our' missions here in Congo (and beyond)!"
Fr. Antonio's open letter bears the following title: "Why is it that from the often enthusiastic and generous First Proclamation of the missionaries...there do not always arise vibrantly 'missionary' local Churches? "
