Dal Brasile ci scrivono: “Come ogni anno la comunità San Guido Maria Conforti nella parrocchia San Raimondo Nonnato (diocesi di Belo Horizonte MG) ha celebrato solennemente la festa del nostro Fondatore e patrono della comunità. Quest’anno ha avuto un particolare rilievo perché si è benedetto e posto nell’abside della cappella un grande Crocifisso, copia perfetta e ben riuscita del Crocifisso che nella chiesa della Pace, con uno scambio di sguardi contemplativi, il giovane Guido si sentiva dire tante cose.

In questa cappella, vale ricordarlo, si sono tenute lunghe ore di preghiera e la novena al Beato Guido Maria Conforti per la vita di un neonato che, con la testimonianza della comunità stessa, ha convinto i giudici romani ad attribuirne la guarigione dichiarata inspiegabile dai medici giudicanti, alla intercessione del Beato che subito dopo fu scritto nell’elenco dei Santi.”

Our confreres wrote from Brazil: “As in every year our Community of St. Guido M. Conforti in the Parish of St. Raimondo Nonnato (Diocese of Belo Horizonte MG), solemnly celebrated the Feast of Our Founder and Patron.  The greater relevance of this year was the placing in the center of the Church a copy of the huge Crucifix of our Founder, a perfect copy, well made. In this church of Peace it is possible almost to experience the intensity of the contemplative looks of Christ and of our young Guido Conforti: he used to tell me so many things.

It is good to remember that in this church we spent long hours of prayers and the Novena to the Blessed Guido Maria Conforti for the life of a newborn child. Due to the witness of the same community, the Vatican Lawyers attributed the healing of the child to the intercession of our Blessed Founder, and who, soon later, was declared Saint Guido Maria Conforti and inscribed in the list of the Saints".
