“The Chapter Fathers are glad to inform the entire Xaverian Family that the new Vicar General has been elected in the person of Fr. Mauro Loda. While thanking the Chapter Fathers for their trust in him, Fr. Mauro expressed his willingness to accept this assignment out of love for the Xaverian family.
The Superior General thanked Fr. Mario Carmelo Mula, the out-going Vicar General, for his 10-year service in the previous Councils (July 2013 – December 2016 and August 2017 – July 2023, also as acting General Superior from December 2016 to August 2017).
