Segnaliamo nella sezione “scambi” l’esperienza dal titolo “Bau Domba” (l’odore delle pecore, in lingua Bahasa) del nostro confratello p. Tatno sx (Sutatno Antonius), da vari mesi impegnato come viceparroco nella pastorale missionaria a Bukit Tinggi, nella parrocchia di St. Petrus Claver, Diocesi di Padang, nell’isola di Sumatra – Indonesia. Vive insieme a p. Enrique Sánchez Vázquez, parroco. P. Tatno è stato ordinato presbiterato il 21 agosto 2020. Nella sua condivisione, scrive di essersi dato da fare nell’esercizio del ministero sacerdotale fin dall’ottobre 2020. Fin d’allora, vive con gioia la sua partecipazione come sacerdote missionario al lavoro saveriano per il Signore… Le “difficoltà non mancano” e i “momenti di solitudine nemmeno”. Tuttavia, “tutti gli eventi che ho esperimentato finora mi assicurano che il Signore mi sta formando ad essere un missionario forte e di preghiera, che è desideroso di imparare ed ascoltare, che conosce le sue pecore e vuole puzzare come loro…”

Bau Domba…

We point out, in the “exchanges” section, the experience entitled “Bau Domba” (the “smell of sheep”, in Bahasa Language) written by our Confrere Fr. Tatno s.x. (Sutatno Antonius). Fr. Tatno has been working in Bukit Tinggi for several months as Vice-Pastor, committed to the missionary pastoral care of the parish of St. Peter Claver, Diocese of Padang, in Sumatra Island – Indonesia. Fr. Satno lives with Fr. Enrique Sánchez Vázquez s.x., parish pastor. Fr. Tatno was ordained Priest on August 21^st – 2020.  In his sharing, he writes that he has been busy in the exercise of his priestly ministry since October 2020.  Since then, he has lived with joy his participation as a missionary priest in the Xaverian work for the Lord. There is no shortage of “difficulties” and “moments of solitude”.  However, “all the events I have experienced so far assure me that the Lord is moulding me to be “a strong and prayerful missionary, who is eager to learn and to listen, who knows his sheep and wants to stink like them …”.
