Dal 22-23 aprile 2021 ha avuto luogo l'assemblea generale della Regione del Burundi. Tutti i confratelli erano presenti, eccetto due confratelli malati, i pp. Luigi Vitella e Angelo Gutoriello, che abbiamo ricordato in modo speciale all'inizio delle nostre sedute. Introdotta da una riflessione di p. Fabien Kalehezo sulla Lettera Testamento e da una condivisione di tutti su quest’ ultima, questa assemblea ci ha permesso di fare la verifica delle nostre attività in vari settori in cui siamo missionariamente impegnati. Abbiamo anche riflettuto sul come consolidare alcune attività. L'assemblea si è conclusa con l’Eucaristia presieduta da p. Fabien Kalehezo in memoria dei nostri confratelli recentemente deceduti, i pp. Cima Palmario e Giuseppe Pulcini. Vi hanno preso parte i laici saveriani e alcuni amici. (Gabriel Basuzwa sx)

On April 22-23, 2021, the General Assembly of the Xaverian Region of Burundi took place. All Confreres were present, with the exception of two sick Confreres, Fr. Luigi Vitella and Fr. Angelo Gutturiello, whom we remembered in a special way at the beginning of our sessions. Introduced by a reflection of Fr. Fabien Kalehezo, s.x. on the Testament Letter and by a sharing on the same topic, the assembly has allowed us to verify our work in the various areas of our missionary engagements. We have also taken into consideration ways to consolidate some of our activities. The assembly ended with the Eucharistic celebration, presided by Fr. Fabien Kalehezo, in memory of our recently deceased Confreres: Fr. Cima Palmiro and Fr. Giuseppe Pulcini. The Xaverian Laity and some friends took part.  (Fr. Gabriel Basuzwa, s.x.)
