Abbiamo vissuto la nostra Assemblea Annuale a Bongor, Ciad, dal 04 al 07 novembre 2024.
In un clima di fraternità, ci siamo incontrati con i confratelli delle nostre diverse comunità presenti in Ciad e con p. Tonino Melis. I pp. Sergio Galimberti ed Antxon Serrano Insausti erano assenti per ragioni giustificate.
Abbiamo iniziato con un momento di condivisione: ogni comunità ha presentato il suo Progetto di Vita, le gioie e le sfide nell'apostolato; senza dimenticare le nuove esperienze, il futuro per alcune delle nostre comunità (Tagal, Bongor e N'Djamena).
Abbiamo dedicato tempo alla presentazione e alla condivisione dei lavori delle Commissioni in vista del percorso per diventare delegazione Saveriana del Ciad.
Abbiamo riservato tempo anche alla preparazione dell'Assemblea di gennaio 2025, alla visita della DG; agli accordi di collaborazione con le diocesi di Pala e N'Djamena; ai progetti, ecc....
L'assemblea ha, inoltre, designato p. Jésus Manuel Calero Perera come referente per il Centro di Studi Africani per il Ciad.
In comunione con i nostri confratelli presenti in Camerun, e con tutti i membri della nostra famiglia missionaria, abbiamo festeggiato il nostro santo Fondatore con la rinnovazione dei voti del nostro giovane confratello Emmanuel Nshokano Kajibwami, in periodo formativo a Bitkine. We had our annual Assembly in Bongor, Chad from November 4 to 7, 2024.
In an atmosphere of fraternity, we met with the brothers of our different communities present in Chad and with Fr Tonino Melis. Fr Sergio Galimberti and Fr. Antxon Serrano Insausti were absent for reasons of leave and previous committments respectively.
We began with a moment of sharing: each community presented its Life Project, the joys and challenges in the apostolate, as well as the new experiences undertaken and the future in some of our communities, Tagal, Bongor and N'Djamena.
We took time for the presentation and sharing of the work of the Commissions in view of the journey to become a Delegation (of Chad).
We then proceeded to talk about the preparation of the January assembly; the visit of the DG; the collaboration and conventions with the dioceses of Pala and N'Djamena; some other projects, etc....
The Assembly designated Fr. Jésus Manuel Calero Perera as the correspondent of the Center for African Studies for Chad.
In communion with our brothers present in Cameroon, and with all the members of our missionary family, we celebrated our holy Founder with the renewal of the vows of our young brother, Emmanuel Nshokano Kajibwami in his formative period in Bitkine. (Gilbert Mbula Niyitegeka s.x.)
