Mbudi (Kinshasa, RDC). Sabato 29 febbraio si è conclusa a Mbudi la sessione di sei settimane di formazione dei formatori, organizzata dai Missionari CICM. Il padre Mitengezo Aimè vi ha partecipato assieme ad altri 25 religiosi e religiose. Scopo della sessione: offrire una formazione specifica per coloro che svolgono il servizio di educatore in una Casa di formazione alla vita religiosa e missionaria. I temi trattati (uno per settimana): il formatore (la sua persona e il suo ruolo), la gestione delle emozioni nel processo formativo, la trasmissione del carisma, l’accompagnamento vocazionale e il discernimento nelle case di formazione, la leadership cristiana nella formazione, il diritto canonico nel’ambito formativo.

Conclude il padre Aimè: “Essendo stato inviato recentemente nella casa di formazione, da settembre scorso, dopo 4 anni di pastorale nelle Filippine e due di studi a Parigi, e dopo aver seguito questa sessione, capisco che il primo ad essere formato è proprio il formatore che deve essere leader di se stesso prima di esserlo per gli altri! La sessione mi ha aiutato a mettere sempre in luce tre elementi: il nostro carisma, la nostra spiritualità e la nostra missione. Un grazie sincero alla famiglia saveriana per questa bella opportunità di formazione permanente con persone sperimentate e competenti che hanno saputo incoraggiarci”.

Mbudi (Kinshasa, RDC).  On Saturday, February 29^th, the six-week training session for Formators, organized by the CICM Missionaries, ended in Mbudi. Fr. Mitengezo Aimé  participated, together with other twenty five religious men and women. Purpose of the session: to provide specific training for those who serve as educators in a Formation House for religious life or missionary life.  Themes covered (one per week):  the Trainer (Person and Role); the Management of Emotions  in the Formation Process;  the Transmission of the Charism;  Vocation Accompaniment and Discernment  in the Formation Houses;  Christian Leadership in the Formation Process;  Canon Law in the Formation Process.

Fr. Aimé concludes: “Having been recently sent to a Formation House, since last September, after four years of mission ministry in the Philippines and two years of Study in Paris, and after having followed this session, I understand that the first to be formed is precisely the Formator himself or herself and that he or she must be leader for himself or herself before being one for others!  This session helped me to always highlight three elements: our charism, our spirituality and our mission. A sincere THANK YOU to the Xaverian Family for this beautiful opportunity of Permanent Formation with experienced and competent persons who have been able to encourage us.”
