Nella RDC l’emergenza alimentare ha raggiunto i massimi livelli. Il Programma alimentare mondiale (Wfp) ha lanciato l’allarme cibo per milioni di persone. Nelle province orientali del Paese africano, ha precisato il Wfp in una nota, il numero di persone che affrontano un’insicurezza alimentare acuta è salito da 6,6 milioni a 7,9 milioni. L’Onu ha denunciato la recrudescenza negli ultimi mesi delle violenze, a causa soprattutto dall’avanzata nell’est del gruppo armato M23.
