Martedì 21 marzo 2023, poco prima dell'inizio del Ramadan, nella città di Tangeri, lo spazio artistico e culturale “Riad Sultan” ha organizzato un omaggio al poeta sufi Ahmed Tribak Ahmed in occasione della Giornata della poesia, invitando le tre religioni monoteiste ad esprimere con la poesia mistica la bellezza di Dio.

Ciò ha dato luogo a un incontro tra ebrei, musulmani e cristiani attraverso diversi mistici. Oggi si parla di Dio in diversi modi, questo è uno di quelli che ci permette di scoprire il cammino spirituale dei credenti.

Monsignor Emilio Rocha Grande OFM, arcivescovo di Tangeri, ha recitato due poemi di San Giovanni della Croce: “Il cantico spirituale” e alcune strofe in otto versi sulla ricerca dell’anima per poter ricongiungersi con l’Amato. (Rolando Ruíz Durán sx)

On Tuesday, March 21^st, 2023, on Poetry Day, shortly before the beginning of Ramadan, the “Riad Sultan” Art and Culture Forum organised an event in the city of Tangier to pay tribute to the Sufi poet Ahmed Tribak Ahmed. For the occasion, the three monotheistic religions were invited to express the beauty of God through mystic poetry.

As a result, thanks to the writings of different mystics, a meeting of Jews, Muslims and Christians took place. Today, people talk about God in diverse manners, poetry is one of them and allows us to discover the spiritual journey of believers.
