Il 1° ottobre 2019, al pomeriggio, si è svolta nella Basilica di San Pietro, l’apertura dell’OTTOBRE MISSIONARIO STRAORDINARIO, con la presenza del Papa Francesco, per la recita dei Vespri. Questa celebrazione è stata preceduta da una Veglia missionaria preparata da alcuni membri dei nostri Istituti Missionari: la lettura di At 8, 26-40 e le testimonianze di alcuni missionari, religiosi, diocesani e laici ci hanno introdotto in questo mese ‘speciale’. Il Papa ci ha parlato, con un suo messaggio sempre molto immediato e concreto.

On October 1, 2019 in the Basilica of St. Peter at the presence of the Holy Father during the evening prayer the Extraordinary Missionary Month was solemnly inaugurated. The inauguration was prepared by a preceding Prayer Vigil organized by some members of the missionary institutes their represented. The reading of Acts 8, 26-40 together with the testimonies of some missionaries, religious and lay people introduced us all to the special month willed by the pope. His message as always was practical and direct.
