La comunità di Fnideq in Marocco ha vissuto questo mese missionario con un'apertura di cuore che nella preghiera abbraccia tutte le realtà missionarie del mondo, in particolare quelle della nostra Famiglia. La nostra preghiera è prima di tutto per i missionari e le missionarie. “Racconta quello che hai visto e sentito” è stato molto presente e già si stanno preparando gesti speciali per la Giornata Missionaria Mondiale, domenica 24 ottobre 2021, nella Chiesa locale di Tangeri che, tra l'altro, domenica scorsa ha inaugurato il cammino sinodale di tutte le comunità. La nostra vita ordinaria in mezzo alla comunità musulmana è abbastanza eloquente; i laboratori di attività che abbiamo iniziato, indirettamente ci hanno messo in contatto con circa 100 famiglie: alcune vicine e altre provenienti dai paesi limitrofi. Le persone fanno domande su di noi e sul nostro stile di presenza che a poco a poco stanno imparando a conoscere e ad apprezzare. Siamo un pizzico di lievito sulla terra… È il nostro modo di raccontare ciò che abbiamo visto e sentito. Ci congratuliamo con tutti quelli che possono gridarlo dai tetti… ci sentiamo in comunione con loro. (François sx, Juan Antonio sx, Rolando sx)

The community of Fnideq in Morocco has lived this missionary month with an open heart that, through prayer, has embraced all missionary realities in the world, especially those of our Family. Our prayer goes, first of all, to missionary men and women. “Tell what you have seen and heard”: this theme has been much present here. In fact, we are preparing some special initiatives for the celebration of World Mission Day on Sunday, October 24^th, 2021, in the local church of Tangier, which last Sunday has inaugurated the synodal journey of all communities. Our presence in the midst of the Muslim community is already quite eloquent; the workshops we started have indirectly put us in contact with about 100 families: some are in the vicinity while others come from the neighbouring villages. People enquire about us and our life style. Little by little, they begin to know and appreciate us. We are just a pinch of wheat in the earth… This is our way to tell what we have seen and heard.
