Mons.

Mons. George Biguzzi writes:  “Today, Solemn Feast of Christ The King, it was really a full day for all of us here in the Community of San Pietro in Vincoli.  The Pastor of the Cathedral of Ravenna, together with a group of parishioners, visited our House for a full day of Retreat.  On the same day, about thirty boyscouts from the city of Forlì came and held their meeting.   After the Holy Mass with the boyscouts, concelebrated by Fr. Mario Mula, present for a canonical visit to our community, by Mons. George Biguzzi, Fr. Antonio Guiotto, we all shared our mission experiences and our work in Sierra Leon, Colombia and missions served by the Xaverians.

From Parma:  “On Friday, November 23rd, our Theology Students of Parma organized and lived an intense moment of ecumenical prayer with members of the Methodist Church.  It is already from several years that we are collaborating with diverse Churches present in our territory. Particularly, with the Adventist Church, the Methodist Church, the Orthodox Church ( Romenian and Greek), and Old-Catholic Church. One year ago, at the invitation of our Pope Francis, our community celebrated the 500th Anniversary of the Reformation, together with the Methodist Community who welcomed us in their Eucharistic Celebration.  In this last encounter, the theme was: “Welcoming each other”: In prayer we listened to the experiences of migrants, who been welcomed by families in the city of Parma, prophetic sign for today’s time.”
