Si è svolta dal giorno 5 al 7 Novembre la Assemblea Regionale 2019. 26 i Saveriani presenti (5 assenti per motivi di salute ).

Il 5 di Novembre, con la solennità di san Guido abbiamo anche unito la celebrazione del nostro 70° di presenza in questa terra di Missione.

Dopo il ritiro della mattinata guidato dal vescovo ausiliare mons. Sakai, abbiamo fatto visita alla tomba di Famiglia e deposto le ossa del caro p. Audisio. Nel pomeriggio abbiamo ricevuto la testimonianza di 3 laici circa il ricordo del loro incontro con i nostri primi missionari e i frutti del loro lavoro pastorale.

A seguire la solenne celebrazione di San Guido con la presenza di fedeli e sacerdoti del vicariato di Kishiwada,   il primo che ci fu affidato nel lontano dicembre del 1949.

Il giorno a seguire è stato dedicato ai temi di alcune nostre classiche attività missionarie: ovvero la Educazione (asili, scuole e università) e la Parrocchia Missionaria. Ultimo giorno dedicato a due delle attività nuove ed emergenti quali il Web e il Laicato.

The Regional Assembly took place from November 5^th to November 7^th – 2019.  There were 26 Xaverians present.   Six Xaverians were missing  due to health reasons.

On November 5^th, on the Solemnity of St. Guido Maria Conforti,  we celebrated also the 70^th Anniversary of our mission presence in Japan.  Right after the morning Retreat, preached by the Auxiliary Bishop Mons. Sakai, we visited the tomb of our dear confrere Fr. Audisio.  In the afternoon,  we listened to the personal experience of 12 lay friends ,who  shared with us their remembrances of their encounter of the first Xaverian missionaries in this land and of their fruits in their pastoral services.

There followed the celebration of our Founder at the presence of many of our faithful and priests  of  Kishiwada Vicariate, the first territory assigned to our Family in December 1949.

On the following day, we looked at  some of our classical missionary activities: namely, education (Kinder Gardens, Schools, Universities) and the Mission Parish.  On the last day, we spoke of our new activities and, among them, Web and the Laity.
