La risonanza di questa particolare settimana (2 luglio 2021!) ci viene regalata dal Signor Albertus Binardi Bachtiar, coordinatore del PAX (Pagubuyan Awam Xaverian), il gruppo dei laici Saveriani Indonesiani. Il titolo della risonanza è “La mia riflessione sulla Lettera Testamento di san Guido M. Conforti”. Nella sua introduzione, il Signor Albertus Binardi Bachtiar scrive: “…sono Laico Saveriano dal 2011, ma solo durante l'Anno Giubilare della Congregazione Saveriana ho avuto l'opportunità di leggere la Lettera Testamento (LT) di S. Guido Maria Conforti…”. Albertus Binardi Bachtiar ha 62 anni. Con la sua famiglia, è molto coinvolto nella Parrocchia di San Matteo al Bintaro come catechista, conduttore del coro e nei gruppi della Parola di Dio. E aggiunge nella sua riflessione: “Una delle affermazioni della LT che mi colpisce di più è ‘Dio non poteva essere più benevolo con noi’. Cento anni fa, attraverso le sue preghiere contemplative davanti al Cristo crocifisso, san Guido era più che certo che l'amore di Dio gli bastasse…”

Segnaliamo la riflessione della Missionaria di Maria, Saveriana, Silvia Marsili mmx, dal titolo “Ecco la serva del Signore” dove, in modo breve ed efficace, presenta il cuore del “Sì” di Celestina Bottego: “Era il 24 maggio 1944 quando Celestina Bottego acconsentì a diventare co-fondatrice della Società Missionaria di Maria. A diverse riprese p. Giacomo Spagnolo (missionario saveriano) glielo aveva proposto, ma Celestina non si sentiva adatta. Era alle soglie dei 50 anni, una vita già strutturata nel dono di sé, con impegni che le riempivano mente e cuore… Ma quando p. Giacomo per Pasqua le inviò gli auguri con quella cartolina del Crocifisso di Velasquez dietro la quale aveva tracciato quell’unica parola “Tutto”,che esprimeva così bene il dono di Dio e interpellava in modo così eloquente la sua libertà, Celestina ne fu profondamente turbata. Il suo cuore ne restò inquieto fino al momento in cui riuscì a dire il suo sì, con la corona del rosario in mano. Avvenne a Capriglio, sull’Appennino parmense, accanto alla grotta di Lourdes...”

Come tutti sappiamo, il 2 luglio 2021 era prevista nel Santuario Conforti a Parma, la chiusura ufficiale e solenne dell’Anno Giubilare saveriano, con la partecipazione anche dei Superiori di Circoscrizione riuniti nella Cosuma. Per non perdere il valore della celebrazione vissuta insieme ai rappresentanti di tutti i Confratelli saveriani, il rinvio della Cosuma ha indotto la Direzione Generale a spostare anche la data della chiusura del Giubileo: essa sarà la Domenica 3 ottobre 2021 nel Santuario Conforti a Parma.
Varie circoscrizioni Saveriane, tuttavia, approfittando della concomitanza di vari e importanti momenti di famiglia, hanno chiuso l’anno giubilare saveriano venerdì 2 luglio 2021.

The resonance of this particular week (July 2^nd, 2021!) is presented to us by Mr. Albertus Binardi Bachtiar, PAX (Pagubuyan Awam Xaverian) coordinator. In his introduction, Mr. Albertus Binardi Bachtiar writes: “… I have been a lay Xaverian since 2011, but only during the Jubilee Year of the Xaverian Congregation did I have the opportunity to read the Testament Letter of St. Guido Maria Conforti. Albertus Binardi Bachtiar is 62 years old. With his family, he is very much involved in Matthew Parish al Bintaro as a catechist, music ministry and in groups of the Word of God. He adds in his reflection: “One of the statements of the LT that strikes me the most is ‘God could not have been more benevolent to us’. One hundred years ago, through his contemplative prayers before the crucified Christ, Saint Guido was more than certain that the love of God was enough for him…”.

We would like to draw your attention to the reflection by Sr. Silvia Marsili, mmx, Xaverian Missionary Sister of Mary, which is titled: “Here is the Servant of the Lord”. In a short and effective way, Sr. Silvia Marsili presents the heart of Celestina Bottego’s “yes”: “It was on May 24^th – 1944, when Celestina Bòttego agreed to become co-Founder of the Missionary Society of Mary. On several occasions, Fr. Giacomo Spagnolo (Xaverian missionary) had made this proposal to her, but Celestina did not feel suitable. She was then reaching the threshold of 50 years of age. Her life was already structured as a total gift of herself. Many commitments were filling her mind and heart … But when Fr. Giacomo sent her a postcard of Easter Greetings depicting Velasquez’s Crucifix, on the back of which he had written only the word “Everything!” – one word that expressed God’s gift so well and so eloquently questioned her freedom –, Celestina felt deeply unsettled. Her heart remained restless until she managed to say ‘YES’ while holding her rosary in her hands. It took place in the town of Capriglio, on the Parma Apennines, next to a replica of the cave of Lourdes …”.

As you all know, the official and solemn closure of the Xaverian Jubilee Year was originally planned for July 2^nd – 2021 in the Conforti Shrine of Parma and would have included the participation of the Superiors of Circumscriptions gathered for COSUMA. In order not to lose the value of a celebrating together with the representatives of all Xaverian Confreres, following the postponement of COSUMA, the General Direction has postponed also the date for the closing of the Jubilee Year, which will be on Sunday, October 3^rd – 2021 in the Conforti Shrine of Parma.
However, various Xaverian Regions, taking advantage of the combination of various important family moments, have chosen to close the Jubilee Year on July 2^nd – 2021.
