Martedì 01 giugno 2021 alle ore 14.30 (ore di Roma), con la partecipazione di tutta la Direzione Generale, si è tenuto l’incontro online delle equipe educative dei Teologati: Città del Messico, Kinshasa, Manila, Parma e Yaoundé. Il tema di riflessione è stato preparato e presentato dai pp. Gilbert Mbula Niyitegeka sx e Richard Nembouet sx del Teologato di Yaoundé: Le Xaverien: Consecration missionnaire et sacerdoce ministeriel (I Saveriani: la consacrazione missionaria e il sacerdozio ministeriale). Lo schema dell’intervento ha toccato i seguenti punti: rilevanza della questione: il punto della situazione; ciò che può essere alla base della questione; i due estremi: clericalismo e relativismo; educare a una visione chiara del sacerdozio: s. Guido Maria Conforti. Dopo la lettura e la spiegazione fatte da p. Richard Nembouet, c’è stato un ampio scambio di idee ed esperienze sulla sfida quotidiana che tale tema rappresenta per la formazione umana e spirituale del missionario saveriano.   

On Tuesday, June 1^st – 2021, at 2.30 pm (Rome time), with the participation of all the Members of the General Direction, the online meeting of the formation and educational teams of the Xaverian Theologates (Mexico city, Kinshasa, Manila, Parma and Yaoundé) was held. The theme for reflection, “The Xaverians: Missionary Consecration and Ministerial Priesthood”, was prepared and presented by Frs. Gilbert Mbula Niyitegeka, s.x. and Richard Nembouet, s.x. of the Yaondé Theologate. Their presentation has touched upon the following points: Relevance of the issue; Present situation; What may lay at the root of the issue; Two extremes: Clericalism and Relativism; Educating and forming a clear vision of the priesthood: St. Guido Maria Conforti. Fr. Richard Nembouet’s reading and explanations were followed by a wide exchange of ideas and experiences on the daily challenges that this theme represents for the human and spiritual formation process of the Xaverian Missionaries.
