Il 5 novembre, abbiamo celebrato per la prima volta la festa di San Guido Maria Conforti in Marocco. Mentre il nostro inserimento continua con lo studio di Dariya, (L’Arabo Marocchino), rimaniamo ancora presso il vescovado di Tangeri, da dove abbiamo l'opportunità di conoscere un po’ di più altre comunità religiose. P. Juan Antonio Flores Osuna sx ha festeggiato con le Suore Adoratrici e P. Rolando Ruiz Durán sx al Carmelo. Abbiamo condiviso il cibo con due Francescani minori, due suore Eclesianas (Società di Vita Apostolica nate a Tangeri-Marocco, il cui carisma è la presenza nel mondo mussulmano) e due suore Vedrunas (Carmelitane della Carità di Vedruna, dal nome della Fondatrice Santa Joaquina de Vedruna). Uno dei francescani è il parroco della Cattedrale di Tangeri e l’altro è parroco della parrocchia francofona. Una suora Eclesiana è la delegata per la vita religiosa e una suora Vedruna è la delegata diocesana per i migranti. L'affetto e la vicinanza delle altre comunità (le Suore di Calcutta, le religiose di Gesù Maria, le Missionarie Francescane del Cuore Immacolato, le Missionarie Francescane dell'Immacolata Concezione, le Francescane dell'Immacolata e le Francescane della Croce Bianca) si è fatto sentire. Tutti pregano affinché il nostro inserimento nella diocesi diventi sempre più profondo. Per questo, abbiamo chiesto tutti insieme l'intercessione di Mons. Conforti perché la nostra presenza in Marocco renda testimonianza dell'ideale di "fare del mondo una famiglia".

On November 5^th – 2020, we celebrated, for the first time,  the feast of St. Guido Maria Conforti in Morocco.  While our insertion continues with the study of Dariya, (Morocan Arabic), we still remain at the Bishopric of Tangier, from where we have the opportunity to get to know a little more about other religious communities.  Fr. Juan Antonio Flores Osuma, s.x. celebrated with the Sisters of Adoration and with Fr. Rolando Ruiz Durán, s.x. at Carmelo.  We shared food with two younger Franciscans, two Ecclesial Sisters (Religious Congregation of Apostolic Life born in Tangier-Morocco, whose apostolate is exclusively for the service of the Moslem world) and two Vedrunas Sisters (Carmelite Sisters  of Charity of Vedruna, named after the Founder Saint Joaquina of Vedruna). One of Franciscans is the parish priest of the Cathedral of Tangier; the other, is parish priest of the French speaking parish.  One of the Ecclesial Sisters is the Delegate for Religious Life; one of the Vedruna Sisters is the Diocesan Delegate for migrants.  The affection and the closeness of the other Religious Communities  (the Sisters of Mother Theresa if Calcutta, the Sisters of Jesus and Mary, the Franciscan Missionaries of the Immaculate Heart, the Franciscan Missionaries of the Immaculate Conception, The Franciscans of the Immaculate Conception and the Franciscans of the White Cross) were deeply felt.   Everyone prays that our inclusion in the Diocese may become even deeper.  For this reason, all of us have asked together for the intercession of Mons. Guido Maria Conforti,  so that our presence in Morocco may bear witness to our ideal of “making the world a single family”.
