NUOVA EDIZIONE DEI “DIRETTORI E STATUTI GENERALI”: DIGITALE E CARTACEA

È stata caricata sul sito della Direzione Generale la copia digitale della nuova edizione di “Direttori e Statuti Generali. Direttorio del Capitolo Generale e Direttorio dei Beni Temporali”, 2024.
Come richiesto dal XVIII Capitolo Generale ai nn. 106 e 110-111, la Direzione Generale ha preparato una nuova edizione aggiornata dei Direttori e Statuti Generali.
La distribuzione dell’edizione cartacea avverrà subito dopo Pasqua. Un sentito grazie al nostro confratello p. Giovanni Paolo Succu, che ne ha curato l’impaginazione e la grafica.
Il Superiore Generale, nella Presentazione della nuova edizione di “Direttori e Statuti Generali”, scrive:
“…D’ora in avanti, la nuova edizione ‘Direttori e Statuti Generali’ 2024 sarà il testo normativo ed ufficiale per tutta la nostra Famiglia missionaria, offrendo una guida aggiornata e completa per la vita e l’operato di tutti i Missionari Saveriani…
…Invitiamo ogni Circoscrizione ad aggiornare i propri Direttori e Statuti alla luce della nuova edizione ‘Direttori e Statuti Generali’ 2024…
…Le norme contenute in questi testi sono un prezioso strumento per noi consacrati alla missione. Esse ci aiutano a vivere concretamente la nostra chiamata alla vita Saveriana come Famiglia e a verificarne insieme l’attuazione. È fondamentale che ognuno di noi le conosca, le ami e le faccia proprie, con il desiderio e la volontà di camminare insieme come fratelli sui sentieri del Regno di Dio…”

NEW EDITION OF “DIRECTORIES AND GENERAL STATUTES”: DIGITAL AND PAPER VERSIONS
A digital version of the new edition of “Directories and General Statutes. Directory of the General Chapter and Directory of Temporal Goods” (2024) has been uploaded to the website of the General Direction. This new edition has been prepared by the General Direction that, as requested by the XVIII General Chapter (NOs. 106 and 110-111), has updated and revised the texts of the “Directories and General Statutes”.
The paper version will be distributed right after Easter. Many thanks to our confrere Fr. Giovanni Paolo Succu for the realisation of the graphic layout.
In the Introduction to the new edition of Directories and General Statutes, the Superior General writes:
“…The new edition of ‘Directories and General Statutes’ (2024) is now the normative and official text for our entire Missionary Family, to whom it offers an updated and comprehensive guide for the life and work of all Xaverian Missionaries.
…The GD invites each Circumscription to update its Directories and Statutes in light of the new edition, ‘Directories and General Statutes’ (2024). …
…The norms in these texts are a valuable tool for us – people consecrated to the mission. They help us concretely live our call to the Xaverian life as a Family and verify its implementation together. It is essential for us to know them, love them, and make them our own, with the desire and will to walk together as brothers on the paths of the Kingdom of God…”
