Dall'1 al 5 ottobre 2024 si è riunita a Roma la Commissione Generale per la Formazione Permanente. Si tratta della realizzazione di un orientamento del XVIII Capitolo generale (XVIII 61.g). La Commissione Generale è formata dai seguenti confratelli: p. Flores Osuna Juan Antonio (Spagna), p. Sriyatmoko Yacobus (Indonesia), p. Paolo Tovo (DC), p. Martínez Rodrigo Francisco (Brasile del Nord), p. Birabaluge Louis (DC) e p. Emalieu Pene Pierre Thierry (DC). All'incontro hanno partecipato anche tutti i membri della Direzione Generale. Dopo aver ascoltato l'esperienza dei Missionari Comboniani sulla Formazione Permanente, la Commissione Generale si è concentrata sull'organizzazione dell'Anno della Saverianità, sul Programma dei 50 Giorni , il Congresso sul Volto Umano del Saveriano e su altre iniziative per continuare l'animazione della Congregazione sulla necessità e bellezza della Formazione Permanente.(Louis Birabaluge sx)

From 01 to 05 October 2024, the Ongoing Formation’s General Commission met in Rome. This was the realisation of an orientation of the XVIII General Chapter (XVIII 61.g). The General commission is formed by the following confreres: Fr. Flores Osuna Juan Antonio (Spain), Fr. Sriyatmoko Yacobus (Indonesia), Fr. Paolo Tovo (CD), Fr Martínez Rodrigo Francisco (North Brazil), Fr. Birabaluge Louis (CD) and Fr. Emalieu Pene Pierre Thierry (CD). All the members of the General Direction took also part in the meeting. After listening to the experience of the Comboni Missionaries on Ongoing formation, the commission focused on the organisation of the Year of Xaverianity, the 50 Days’ Programme and the Congress on Xaverian Human Face and other initiatives in order to continue the animation of the congregation on the necessity and the beauty of the Ongoing formation.(Louis Birabaluge s.x.)
