CHIUSURA DELL’ANNO DI CELEBRAZIONI PER IL 70° DI PRESENZA SAVERIANA

L’evento ha avuto luogo sabato 10 giugno 2023, al Santuario Nazionale dell’Aparecida di San Paolo, presente la famiglia saveriana proveniente dalle due regioni – nord e sud. Alle 9 del mattino, la celebrazione si è tenuta nell’Auditorio P. Vitor Coelho, dove si è svolto questo programma: un momento di preghiera iniziale; il discorso dei due superiori regionali, p. Roberto Carlos Marques da Silva s.x. e p. Pedro Saul Ruiz Álvarez s.x.; la lettura del messaggio inviato dal superiore generale, p. Fernando Fernando García Rodríguez; e un giro di conversazioni con i membri della famiglia carismatica saveriana. La condivisione è stata occasione per ricordare e ringraziare il Signore per tutte le grazie che Egli ha elargito alla nostra famiglia nel corso di questi anni di presenza missionaria in Brasile. A mezzogiorno (12.00 p.m.) abbiamo celebrato l’Eucaristia presieduta da Dom Paolo Andreolli, vescovo ausiliare dell’archidiocesi di Belém, all’interno del santuario dell’Aparecida. Nel pomeriggio, ci siamo radunati tra confratelli saveriani per passare del tempo insieme. Abbiamo poi concluso la giornata con una cena fraterna. Possa la Vergine Maria di Aparecida continuare ad aiutarci a seguire ed annunciare suo Figlio a tutti. (Giomar Henrique Clemente s.x.)

END OF THE CELEBRATIONS FOR THE 70TH ANNIVERSARY OF XAVERIAN PRESENCE

It happened on Saturday, June 10, 2023, in the National Sanctuary of Aparecida, São Paulo, with the presence of the Xaverian family from the two regions: north and south. At 9:00am the celebration took place in the Auditorium Fr. Vitor Coelho where we had: an opening prayer; the speech of the two regional superiors, Fr. Roberto Carlos Marques da Silva s.x. and Fr. Pedro Saul Ruiz Álvarez s.x.; the reading of message of the general superior, Fr. Fernando García Rodríguez; and conversation wheel with some members of the xaverian charismatic family. Listening to their sharing we remembered and thanked the Lord for all the grace He has bestowed upon our family in these years of missionary presence in Brasil. At 12:00 p.m. we celebrated the Eucharist presided over by Dom Paolo Andreolli, auxiliary bishop of the archdiocese of Belém, in the sanctuary of Aparecida. In the afternoon we gathered as Xaverian confreres to spend time together. We concluded the day with a fraternal dinner. May the Virgin Mary of Aparecida continue to help us to follow and announce her Son to all. (Giomar Henrique Clemente sx)
