MissioNet ha programmato una serie di 6 documentari (video) n francese, italiano e spagnolo dal titolo “Insieme nella Vocazione Missionaria e nel Martirio”. Lo scopo di questa serie è di far conoscere e amare la testimonianza di vita dei 4 nuovi martiri, i confratelli Vittorio Faccin, Luigi Carrara, Giovanni Didonè e il sacerdote diocesano Albert Joubert. Ogni settimana sarà pubblicato un episodio.
Il primo episodio - tratto da "Kopo e Tala" (“tazza” e “luce” in lingua swahili) e scritto da p. Faustino Turco - è una produzione dei Missionari Saveriani della Repubblica Democratica del Congo, realizzata da p. Alberto Morales Reyes.
Il video presenta 1) il contesto storico in cui i 4 martiri sono vissuti e hanno lavorato. 2) L’ arrivo a Baraka (1959) e la forza del “rimanere” con la gente e per la gente. 3) Il loro sacrificioin odium fidei. 4) La loro eredità: il dono di sé per il Vangelo del Signore Gesù con la gente e per la gente.
“SHARING IN THE SAME MISSIONARY VOCATION AND MARTYRDOM”: VIDEO 1ST EPISODE (introduction)
MissioNet has planned a series of six documentaries in French, Italian and Spanish titled Insieme nella Vocazione Missionaria e nel Martirio (Sharing in the Same Missionary Vocation and Martyrdom). Purpose of this series is to spread knowledge of and love for the life witness given by the four new martyrs, our confreres Vittorio Faccin, Luigi Carrara, Giovanni Didonè, and the diocesan priest Albert Joubert. Every week, one episode will be released.
The first episode – based on Kopo e Tala (“cup” and “light” in Swahili language) and written by Fr. Faustino Turco – is a production by the Xaverian Missionaries of the Democratic Republic of the Congo and has been made by Fr. Alberto Morales Reyes.
Content of the video: 1) the historical context in which the four martyrs lived and worked; 2) their arrival in Baraka (1959) and their strength in “remaining” with the people and for the people; 3) their being sacrificedin odium fidei (in hatred of the faith); 4) their legacy: the gift of self for the sake of the Gospel of the Lord Jesus with the people and for the people.
