L’annuale assemblea della circoscrizione della Sierra Leone ha avuto come tema: ricordare il passato con gratitudine: 70 ° anniversario della nostra missione in Sierra Leone.

I giorni 2 - 5 dicembre 2020, ci siamo ritrovati tutti presso la Casa Religiosa Makeni per la consueta assemblea annuale della nostra circoscrizione. L’Assemblea è stata un’opportunità per riflettere sulla nostra missione in Sierra Leone ispirata dallo spirito dell'evento: ricordiamo il passato con gratitudine per vivere il presente con entusiasmo e guardare al futuro con fiducia. In effetti, il mandato missionario in Sierra Leone non è ancora terminato e siamo qui per continuare il lavoro del primo annuncio e per affrontare con fiducia le nuove sfide.

Per coronare questo nostro incontro annuale e la celebrazione del 70 ° anniversario della nostra missione in Sierra Leone, venerdì 4 dicembre 2020 alle 17:00 abbiamo celebrato l’eucaristia nella parrocchia di San Conforti. Quest’anno la celebrazione ha gioito della provvidenziale presenza di Mons. Dagoberto Campos Salas, Nunzio Apostolico in Sierra Leone, Liberia e Gambia.

Annual Assembly: Remembering the past with gratitude: 70^th year anniversary of our mission in Sierra Leone.

From 2 December to 5 December 2020, we all gathered at Religious House Makeni for having our annual assembly and celebration of the 70 years anniversary of the first arrival in Sierra Leone. Our assembly is an opportunity to reflect of our mission in Sierra Leone inspired by the spirit of the event: We remember the past with gratitude, to live the present with enthusiasm, and look forward to the future with confidence. Indeed, missionary work in Sierra Leone is not over yet, and still, we are here to carry out the mandate of the first proclamation and to face the new challenges with confidence.

To crown our annual gathering and celebration of the 70^th year anniversary of our mission in Sierra Leone, on Friday, 4 December 2020 at 5:00 p.m. we had the eucharistic celebration at St. Conforti’s parish. It is a providence that this year celebration is blessed by the presence of his excellency, apostolic Nuncio to Sierra Leone, Liberia, and Gambia, Archbishop Dagoberto Campos Salas.
