Dal 26 settembre al 10 ottobre 2021 nella casa saveriana di Tavernerio (Como) si terrà la Cosuma Intercapitolare il cui titolo è  “L’Ad Gentes come sfida e impegno identitario del Saveriano. Chiamati ad una risposta qualificata, come singolo e come famiglia.

Si seguirà il metodo del Vedere, Riflettere e Agire. Il tema centrale sarà poi costellato da temi particolari come 1) l’identità carismatica considerata anche alla luce del nuovo contesto globale che vede l’annuncio ad Gentes come valido là dove vivono i non Cristiani (criterio antropologico), oltrepassando il solo criterio geografico;  2) un nuovo progetto della Casa Madre che vuole ripensare a livello globale il Santuario Conforti, il Centro Studi Confortiani, e la Fondazione Culturale che include il Museo, la Biblioteca, l’eredità del CEM e dello CSAM…; 3) la formazione di Base; 4) la formazione permanente; 5) la gestione economica (Cassa Comune Totale, autosostentamento, formazione alla gestione economica); 6) il governo (studio della modifica dello statuto giuridico delle circoscrizioni, criteri per l’accorpamento di alcune circoscrizioni, numero di Delegati al Capitolo Generale …);  7) missione, comunicazione e cultura, equipe saveriana di tecnici, giornalisti, rivista on line….

The Intercapitular CoSuMa will take place in the Xaverian House of Tavernerio, from September 26^th to October 10^th – 2021. The theme of this meeting is: “The Ad Gentes as challenge to and identifying commitment of the Xaverian: Called to give a qualified answer as individuals and as a Family, today!”

The event will follow the method of: Seeing, Reflecting, and Acting.  Together with the central theme there will be several particular themes such as: 1) our charismatic identity, considered also in the light of the new global context whereby ad gentes proclamation must occur wherever the non-Christians live (anthropological criterion), thus going beyond the sole geographical criterion; 2) A new project for the Xaverian Mother House in Parma that intends to rethink globally the Conforti Sanctuary, the Centre of Confortian Studies, and the Cultural Foundation that includes the Museum, the Library, the legacy of the CEM and the CSAM; 3) Initial formation; 4) On-going formation; 5) Economic management (total common fund, self-support, training in economic management); 6) Government (preliminary study of modifications to the juridical status of the Circumscriptions, number of Delegates to the General Chapter, etc.); 7) Mission, communication and culture, a Xaverian team of technicians, journalists, online magazine ….
